- 474 organisations were involved in bioscience.
- The predominant areas of bioscience work were human wellness and animal-based biosciences.
- The Auckland and Northland region had the largest number of bioscience organisations.
- Total bioscience income was $677 million, for organisations in which bioscience is the primary focus.
