Local authorities’ operating surplus continues

Highlights

  • Local authorities recorded a seasonally adjusted operating surplus of $42.8 million in the March 2009 quarter.
  • Seasonally adjusted operating revenue increased 0.1 percent to $1,690.7 million in the March 2009 quarter.
  • Seasonally adjusted operating expenditure increased 0.6 percent to $1,648.0 million in the March 2009 quarter.
