Our strategic direction

Our strategic priorities are to:

• lead the Official Statistics System so that it efficiently meets the country’s needs for relevant, trustworthy, and accessible information
• obtain more value from official statistics
• transform the way Statistics New Zealand delivers statistics
• create a responsive, customer-focused, influential, and sustainable organisation.
